Introduction of Customized Tooling

A custom tooling, also known as a leak detection fixture or sealing connection fixture, is an interface device specifically designed for a particular workpiece. It enables rapid and reliable sealed connection between the workpiece and the leak detector. Typically made of metal (such as aluminum alloy or stainless steel), its dimensions are entirely determined by the tested workpiece. Its core function is to enhance testing efficiency, repeatability, and accuracy.

Provides a standardized and easy-to-operate connection method for irregular or hard-to-seal workpiece interfaces. Through methods such as quick-fastening, clamps, or pneumatic actuation, operators can complete workpiece clamping and sealing within seconds, replacing traditional time-consuming methods like applying sealant or wrapping thread tape.
Ensuring Consistent and Repeatable Test Results:
Manual sealing can introduce slight variations in tightness and positioning with each operation, leading to fluctuations in test results. Custom fixtures ensure completely consistent installation conditions and sealing parameters for every test through mechanical positioning and limiting, thereby guaranteeing the reliability and comparability of test data.
Significantly Improving Testing Efficiency:
Time is critical on production lines. Custom fixtures make the process of workpiece clamping, testing, and disassembly extremely rapid, making them ideal for 100% inspection of batch-produced workpieces and greatly enhancing production efficiency.
Integrating Automation Functions:
Advanced custom fixtures can integrate pneumatic valves, pressure sensors, displacement sensors, etc. They can interface with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) to achieve fully automated processes including pressurization, pressure holding, testing, and exhaust, reducing human intervention and error rates.
